HOME PARISH NEWS THE BAPTIST CHURCH HISTORY & RESOURCES
This picture is an early work by Canadian artist Sara MacCulloch, and dates to ca. 1994. It depicts the west side of the Parish Church of Colonsay & Oronsay, on the island of Colonsay, in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. The two windows to be seen are now in urgent need of replacement and the parishioners are trying to raise £10,000 to meet the cost.
Sara spent time in Colonsay in her student years and has kindly donated the work as a gesture of thanks for happy memories. The sketch is in watercolour and pencil on paper and measures 23cm x 45cm and, with Sara's permission and good wishes it is available to the highest bidder. For more information about Sara's work please visit see www.saramacculloch.com
